 WhistlerPropertyManagement was founded in 2001 by Troy Assaly , a local businessmen of Whistler Resort, British Columbia.

Troy started out with an entrepreneurial flare, running several businesses while in high school and for two years after graduation. He then completed a four-year Commerce Degree, majoring in Marketing and Computers, from the University of British Columbia. He has held several management positions since, including Hudson's Bay Co., Sunkist Growers Inc., Blackcomb Mountain, Canadian Snowmobile & ATV Adventures, and Eagle Ski, Snowboard & Golf Tours. Currently Troy is working full-time on www.ResortAc.com and several other Whistler-based Internet ventures.

When he's not selling or net surfing, Troy will be found exploring via mountain bike, skis, or snowboard.

Starting in 1995, Troy realized the massive potential of the Internet.  Seeing this potential, plus the rapid growth of Whistler Resort and tourism in general, he set out to create an Internet-based business.  At this time, Troy is creating and managing the following Whistler websites:
